Wedding Flowers -
Wedding flowers add such beauty and special memories to your wedding day especially for photography and video. Choose your bridal flowers in the colors, which compliment your complexion, and a style, which is proportionate to your height and size. Your flowers should compliment the season, your gown, and your style as a couple. Our florist will coordinate all other flower requests with your bridal colors and choice of flowers. We recommend you send us a photo of a bouquet if you wish to provide to our florist for design and pricing. You can also send fabric swatches. Keep in mind most of your wedding flowers are imported into Bermuda. Most times your flowers arrive safely, but on occasion, our florist will need to substitute the necessary flowers as close to your request as possible. Gardenias and lily of the valley are not recommended as they are not hearty travellers and may be bruised once they arrive in Bermuda. Our local flowers such as our hibiscus and oleander are not used for bridal bouquets as they are very fragile and cannot withstand the weather once cut. Flowers are also seasonal for example, Spring flowers such as tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, and lilacs are only available in the Spring. A visit to your florist will assist you with the different varieties of flowers available to you for the time of year you plan to marry. An average bridal bouquet would cost approximately $100 - $150 but cost is dependent on the kind of flowers you choose and the size of the bouquet. If you are on a limited budget, just advise how much you wish to spend and our florist will design accordingly.

TIPS:

Know your flower budget, but be flexible. Sometimes a few dollars more can make a dramatic difference
Don’t fret and be prepared for little surprises if they happen. Don’t be concerned if a flower request isn’t available. Leave the substitution up to the florist and don’t let it ruin your special day.
Don’t expect your outdoor location/church flowers to double as reception flowers. If you do, empty tables will greet your guests while they wait for your flowers to be moved & delivered to your reception site.
Reception table centerpieces should be low or above eye level so as not to hinder the view of guests across the table or conversation. They should also compliment the shape of the table.
When carrying your bouquet, don’t hold your bouquet too high and extend your arms rather than holding it too close to you.
